Abstract: 

Objective: The purpose of this study was to explain the process of acculturation based on Islamic teachings with emphasis on the role of schools. Method: This qualitative research was a hybrid one conducted in three sections: theoretical analysis, fieldwork and final analysis. In the first part, the content analysis method was used and in the second part, the interview method was used. The third part was the analysis of the findings in two parts. The research community in the section of content analysis was the Holy Quran and in the second section, the principals and teachers of the junior high schools of Tehran in the year 1400 SH. Samples were constructed in a purposeful manner until the saturation of the categories with 14 people in a semi-structured interview method. The collected data were analyzed through content analysis and open, centralized and selective coding. Findings: In the first part, using content-inductive-deductive content analysis, the components of the process of acculturation from the biography of the first prophets in the Quran were identified and classified into 4 categories. At a higher level, each of them was classified into three areas (cognitive, emotional and practical), including: 1. acculturation strategy with emphasis on monotheism with indices of prophetic behavior. 2. preliminaries including cultural studies, audience, empowerment and having an organization, proper timing. 3. Principles such as endurance and tolerance, preserving human dignity, internal commitment and liability, explicitness, and clear message. 4. Methods of institutionalizing Values, including invitations to reasoning and giving motivation. In the second stage, based on the components of the process of Islamic acculturation and interviewing, and coding, two categories of roles were identified for schools. 1. Educational role including direct methods (practice and repetition in the gradual process), semi-direct (discussion, debate), and indirect (learning based on experience and action) 2. Giving motivation including cultural self-believing methods, persuasion method and the like. Conclusion: In the last stage of the research process, it was concluded – based on analysis and synthesis of the theoretical data, - that the teacher should strengthen, based on the principle of love in the process of acculturation, the spirit of monotheism in himself and in students by interacting effectively with his pupils to play a greater role in the process of acculturation.

Abstract: 

The Qur'an contains religious Values ​​for the advancement of man to happiness. The claim is that Quranic teachings are the basis of religious Values; By choosing it better, the method of proving religious beliefs can be extracted. This research tries to extract the method of proving religious beliefs with a business approach and by using artistic forms with a descriptive and analytical method and with a better selection of Quranic teachings. Based on the verses, the process was defined as the introduction to the institutionalization of religious Values ​​in the businessman 1- Gaining self-knowledge (knowing the talents, capacities, existential dimensions and position of man in the universe); 2- Gaining monotheistic insight (knowing the origin and your relationship with the Creator); 3- Reciprocity is (knowing the destination and drawing the path of happiness in the universe). After the realization of these three stages, the beliefs must be proven through rational and scientific reasoning and penetrate, in this case, the acceptance of good qualities in the businessman will be facilitated.

Abstract: 

Introduction: Social responsibility from an ethical point of view includes the obligations and duties of natural and legal persons towards society and the environment. The moral behavior of people, like understanding of social responsibility, depends on their liberal ideology, beliefs and human Values. Therefore, the aim of the current research is to study the relationship between liberalism and human Values with the moral understanding of social responsibility. Material & Methods: The research method is applied in terms of purpose and descriptive-correlational survey. The statistical population includes the financial managers of the companies admitted to the stock exchange, and the questionnaire was randomly distributed among them and 110 questionnaires were received. The sampling method is random. The research tool is a questionnaire and multivariate regression using SPSS software was used to analyze the data. Results: The research results show that human Values based on public interest have a significant and positive relationship with the moral understanding of social responsibility. But the thinking of liberalism does not have a meaningful relationship with the moral understanding of social responsibility. Conclusion: Based on the findings of this research, human Values based on public interest can be considered as a tool to strengthen the moral behavior of company managers regarding corporate social responsibility. Also, improving the thinking of liberalism in managers can strengthen their social responsibility. In this case, the policy makers of Stock Exchange can direct the managers of the listed companies to comply more with the social responsibility of the company, through teaching human Values and strengthening those Values, as well as monitoring the implementation of ethical regulations

Abstract: 

Scientific scepticism, fundamentally, questions the veracity and epistemic value of claims not supported by scientific evidence. Motivated by the assumption that only the empirical investigation of reality leads to the truth, the scientific sceptics often maintain that only scientific method is best suited for this purpose. Claims found to be wanting in scientific evidence are considered untrue, and of little or no epistemic consequence. Using the analytical and critical methods, this paper interrogates this epistemic criterion of justification of scientific scepticism. It shows the inherent epistemic deficits in this criterion of the scientific sceptics, and how absolutizing its demands in such a manner as to undermine the veracity and epistemic significance of claims outside the mainstream discipline of science is not only to entrap themselves in many epistemic burdens, but also to sink under the unsavoury weight of criteriological egocentrism, detrimental to cognitive progress. As a credible alternative, this paper explores the epistemic fecundity of contextualistic pluralism – the pluralism of contextually underwritten cognitive positions – in truth and knowledge justification. It concludes with the relevance of this approach in epistemic justification as evident in its inclusive nature as well as its shift of the focus of philosophical thinking from identity to diversity in an interculturality society.

Abstract: 

The fact that all children all over the world acquire their native language through more or less the same processes during the first few years after birth, may be considered as evidence to assume that they are all programmed to language acquisition by birth. Accordingly, they subconsciously internalize a common knowledge about the language of the environment which they use in speech production and perception as well as in organizing their thoughts and also in some other functions during all their lives. According to Universal Grammar (UG) theory, only by the assumption that some universal principles and features are inherited by the child through birth, the natural process of child language acquisition may be explained adequately. In this article language acquisition as evidence for UG is revisited with some specific reference to the Persian language data.

Abstract: 

Introduction: In attention to the role of relationship between child and parents in child development, this research was to study Internalizing symptoms (anxiety depression, depression-withdrawal and somatic complaints) in children regarding to parenting styles (authoritative, authoritarian and permissive) and determine the role of these variables in prediction of children problems.Method: For this purpose, 271 mothers of 7-9 year old boys educating at first to third grade of 4 primary schools of 6th region of Tehran randomly selected by cluster sampling and completed the parenting styles questionnaire of Baumrind and Ashenbakh system of empirically based assessment. Data analyzed by pearson correlation co-efficiency and regression analysis. Results: Authoritative style had negative significant relationship with all the Internalizing symptoms and authoritarian style had positive significant relationship with all the Internalizing symptoms. The result of regression analysis showed that authoritative style is a negative significant predictor and authoritarian is a positive significant predictor of all Internalizing symptoms.Conclusion: Result of the research was concordant with the past studies in this field. In total, it seems that control along with intimacy is the most important factor in prevention of Internalizing symptoms.
